The Story
Tsubaki oil from Oshima island is one of the oldest Japanese cosmetic ingredients — used for hair care, as a cooking oil, and to condition wooden tools. The island's camellia forests produce an oil with a particularly clean, light character. We commissioned a local glassblower to make a bottle worthy of the oil.

About This Product
Blown by a glass artisan on Oshima island, where tsubaki camellia oil has been produced for centuries, this bottle is designed to store the oil at room temperature away from light. The ceramic stopper is thrown locally in complementary indigo clay.
