My work explores the liminal spaces between moments — the fraction of a second before something changes. Trained in Tokyo and based across Asia, I work with available light and long silences to find the photograph that was always waiting to be taken.

Process
Behind the image
Each image begins before the camera is raised. Scouting a location weeks in advance, returning at different times of day, waiting for the quality of light that turns a place into a photograph — this patience is the practice.
